honestly im not sure that the texas gop would necessarily mind the association of arabic with burning flags. that’s the kind of imagery they’ve long sought to indoctrinate people with already

( plus burning flags or upside down flags are easily dismissible as extra “information” since it carries an (additional) message of violence or distress )

the schools that would willing display the signs from the op likely had things like this up already. for schools which don’t want to display them, who would even have the standing to sue if they simply “displayed” these in the trash out back until they were sent to the dump? what kind of damages could they even hope to receive?

it’s a dumb law that deserves to die in fire, but i can’t believe it’s changed any school’s behavior
