I liked his writing on Jalopnik, but I just cannot listen to him talk
For me it’s the opposite. As I don’t care for cars I don’t need to read his writings. But I love the goofy way he talks.
I remember backing up and crushing the front end a Geo Metro with my one ton Chevy truck in my company parking lot. He pulled in behind me ticked off over a bill as I was getting ready to back out, didn’t see any part of the little puddle jumper I would have probably crushed the whole damn thing with the driver inside if my office didn’t start yelling on the 2 way radio system. Good times
I wish the major makers put more effort into small, efficient, low cost vehicles. My current commute is great by bike, but if I switch employers and end up downtown, a car might be nice in winter, but the large vehicles on the market are awful in my neighborhood.
