He’s not that wrong in terms of modern warfare. A tank today is much like what a battleship was at the end of WW2, a big scary machine that was too good of a target to pass up. I think we’re gonna see tanks go through some major redesigns in the coming years to be smaller. The pre-mature declaration of the death of the light tank might be here. A full sized modern battle tank is just too costly to justify when you can hand an infantry squad an anti-tank missile for less than a few thousand dollars to counter.
Also less fewer tracked/treaded vehicles and more wheeled ones.
