Election still a tossup after long night of counting

After 4 years one would think that the electorate learned its lesson but apparently it wasn’t enough and the stupidity won’t stop. Shows that Trump is a symptom, not the illness.

Gonna tell us how the sky is blue, water is wet, and the rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain next?

Get more creative, for example…

Trump is the orange pimple on the saggy ass of white supremacy

I think I found the problem for you:

With an estimated size of approximately 44.2 million in 2018, German Americans are the largest of the self-reported ancestry groups by the United States Census Bureau in its American Community Survey. German Americans account for about one third of the total ethnic German population in the world.

Claire McCaskill lost her election during a wave year because she refused to do any outreach to black people and campaigned on not being a “crazy democrat”, and now she goes on the Lincoln Project Network to lecture other people on how to win by turning the bigotry up to 11.

Claire McCaskill: “Whether you are talking guns or…abortion…or gay marriage and rights for ‘transexuals’ and other people who we as a party ‘look after’ and make sure they are treated fairly. As we circled the issues we left voters behind and Republicans dove in.” pic.twitter.com/bMh9JALAxg

Just a trash person.

No idiot - those people look after the Dem party by voting for it at a 92% rate, donating more than your group and volunteering more.

I’d like to see it listed as “Of the X number of ballots cast, Biden has 48%, Trump has 46% and 6% have not been counted yet”. I don’t care that “Biden has 60%, Trump has 40% of the counted votes, with 86% not counted yet”. That latter one does not tell me anything useful, because the “counts” all depend on which districts managed to report first. I want to know the % of the total votes. not just the already counted votes.

It’s really sad that “natural causes” is our only hope.

We can get one set of numbers from the other

“Of counted votes, Biden has 60%, Trump has 40%, with 86% of total ballots not counted yet”

means

“Of total ballots cast, Biden has 8.4%, Trump has 5.6%, with 86% not counted yet”

Maybe, but my powerpoint skills are not that great, and I have trouble getting the graphing right so that it shows everything in correct proportions. And I’m too lazy to run 50 high-school math problems every hour in order to figure out “how close” the actual results are. I’d rather the reporters made the graphs easy to read in the first place, rather then requiring me to try to interpret them and compensate for the bits they left off the graphs (the uncounted bits which could end up in either column.) At one point, trump had 51% of the michigan vote, so that means he won it doesn’t it? No? That wasn’t 51% of the total votes? Why not just say "so far Trump has got 15%, Biden has 14%, and the remaining 71% is not known yet?

Make it a graph with a little blue on one end, a little red on the other end, and a bunch of grey in the middle. That makes it clear how “close” one of the candidates is to actually being the winner.

I am beginning to wonder if the election results are stuck. I have been seeing the same % votes counted for hours.

Alternatively: reality just broke and I’m stuck in this week forever.

Maybe someone could try unplugging Pennsylvania for 30 seconds and plugging it back in again.

There’s been some movement in Georgia on CNN’s map for Georgia. it says Biden’s less than 9000 votes behind now.
