Emphasising that the 5th Circuit Court found his ruling unacceptable. That’s how bad O’Connor is.

The 5th Circuit Court of Appeals Is Spearheading a Judicial Power Grab

The rogue 5th Circuit Court has helped undermine the separation of powers, established precedent, and principled legal reasoning to accomplish right-wing policy goals; the Supreme Court continuing to follow suit would strip power away from elected representatives and American voters.

I did mention last week that the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals is not yet quite as bad as some of the district judges in the 5th Circuit. This ruling is a good example of that. If Trump wins, though, it won’t be long before the 5th Circuit is full of people like O’Connor. Probably including O’Connor, actually.

Depending on how an upcoming Supreme Court case goes it may by more difficult in the future for businesses to get their cases heard in that usually-corporate-friendly court.

Why haven’t the companies come forward - the ones who quit advertising on the walls of lone skum’s xitter b/c nazi BS next to their ads?

“Republicans buy sneakers, too.” Making their brand into a culture-war lightning rod is probably not on Corporate’s to-do list?

FFS. Okay, why haven’t actual people come forward with their screenshots of this BS?

That ship sailed when they stopped buying ads. Musk called them out then, and they didn’t suffer any ill effects, and quite frankly a Nazi boycott won’t do much to them at the moment.

Why didn’t the judge toss this when Media Matters filed a motion to dismiss, as this is an obvious SLAP sui…. Oh. Right. The judge has an obvious conflict of interest.

Amazing what you can get away with when you have judges and high-level politicians on speed-dial.

Yet another ethically challenged judge.
Clarence Thomas has set a pretty high (or low, depending on your POV) bar for that sort of thing.

If only there was an administration with an agenda dedicated to clearing out corruption in government; this is an example why the Judiciary should be first.
A large number of Congresscritters (past & present, National & State level) could be RICO’d… and not a few Governors, as well.

One can dream.

Not likely.
Like a lot of his ilk, this guy is shameless.
