I’m shocked at how many points France and Italy are getting. I liked the Swiss entry at least. But this is the best Ireland’s done in a long, long time. Like more points tonight than the last 15 years combined, maybe?
EDIT: and Estonia deserves some points, damnit! Their song was fun!

Our jury’s points haven’t been announced yet. We’re currently in 5th place on 99 points, down from 2nd early on. Switzerland’s well in the lead on 232 after the Austrian votes.

The split out the jury and public votes a few years ago, so it’s still anyone’s game. At the very end big batches of points are awarded.

I’m definitely #teamireland this year… I mean, I’m generally so anyway (cause of ancestry) but you’re right about Bambie Thug. They’re all kinds of kick ass. That song has been wedged in my head for a week now!

Ireland gave the 12 points to Switzerland, they’ve really run away with the jury votes. Remains to be seen if the public agree.

Switzerland wins! Final score was 591. Croatia on 547, Ukraine on 453, France on 445, Israel on 375 (a whopping 323 votes from the public), and Ireland on 278.
