What about the big controversy about how the Dash in Ubuntu’s Unity interface was sending local user searches to Amazon, among others, and including advertisements in search results?

It’s important to consider and openly debate important questions. While the Ubuntu source code is free and open, the capacity for those conversations is appropriately protected.
