I remember when the media suddenly began to talk about the people who’d gone missing from cruises, and the crimes that took place on board. The asshole ceo of some cruise ship co issued one of the most tone deaf statements evAr, which included, “Only 50% of the crimes are committed by staff and crew.”
Only half! That means there’s no problem whatsoever, right? right?!

I’m honestly flummoxed that ANYONE thought that going on a cruise in the middle of an ongoing pandemic with two recent variants going around was a good idea even before the CDC said anything. I guess some people have just decided this is over, damn the consequences…
Between this and the recent discussions on the type of mask that should be worn, I feel like we’ve transported back to April 2020, honestly…
