Plenty of people spend a lot of money going to Disney parks but this seems like a pretty extreme example and not particularly Disney-specific. A 2-week family trip to anywhere where you’re flying in and staying in a hotel is going to get pretty pricey. I’m not sure how much of the blame can be laid at Mickey’s feet for this one.

FWIW kids 3 and under get into Disney parks for free.

Inflation has dropped to pretty normal levels, so no, that’s not obvious.

It’s almost as if people are “DOWN and OUT in the Magic Kingdom”

I took my kiddos to Disney once when they were young. We did it on the cheap (we did a house exchange and snuck our own food into the park). They didn’t enjoy it and never wanted to go back. Maybe if we had gone to “Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party”, paid for the photo service, or stayed in a Disney hotel they would have liked it more. But probably not.
