"Fancy" silky teabags shed microplastics

What about those Japanese spoon infusers that you just scoop up the leaves, close it and put in your cup? It shouldn’t be messier than putting a spoon of sugar in a cup?

It’s pretty similar, but it can get a little annoying when it gets stuck in some corners thanks to the design of the animal. Silicone is stretchable and malleable so it’s not that big of a hindrance.
