I was expecting the “Luther destroys the gond” commercial. I’m pretty sure it came out about the same time as Revenge of the Nerds. I remembered it being a commercial for Yar’s Revenge, though. I stand corrected.

I’m pretty certain that I’ve played Star Castle before but I never connected it to Yar’s Revenge until you made the connection. I can definitely see the similarities but they are also very much their own games.

Is that Steve Jobs in that commercial? (I’m sure he had better things to do in 1981/1982.)
They don’t make commercials like that anymore. That was hard hitting.
