Boxing enthusiasts could take the site name: A Bout.com
Like a cross to a vampire, that ‘uneven grid’ that pinterest and G+ do just sets me on edge and I have to run away.
Also I had a teacher who accepted about.com as a reference, but not wikipedia. :\
When I had dial-up Internet access I hated about.com because it was a bandwidth hog compared to many sites back then and made my browser grind to a stop. Once I got broadband access I found some relevant and useful content related to subjects that I enjoyed, that I couldn’t find on any other site.
The last time I went to grab the about.com URL to share that content with someone, I found that all of it had been moved to a site called thespruce.com. This new site is like a home and garden website, and doesn’t have anything to do with the material moved from about.com.
Weird.
