Alternatively you can use the Grammarly extension that have been using for 6 months now and which is absolutely free. It even corrects most online comments and texts.

Caution re WhiteSmoke. The as-you-type spell- and grammar-checking built into Chrome has become excellent, as is the spell- and grammar-checking in Microsoft Word. I don’t see a use for this extension.
