Listen, I love Firefly. I fell in love with my husband while we watched new episodes of Firefly air .
But I am not in love with Joss Whedon’s great big plots, which were discussed in an actor’s round table at a comic-con ten years after the show aired. And I realize that the writing they discussed would likely have been changed if they’d ever gotten to shoot it. But it was real bad, y’all. I’ve been looking for the full clip where it was discussed but I think it was just briefly mentioned, but it somehow managed to be the cheapest emotional gut-punch while also making Mal look like a good guy, which, well, he’s just allright.

Basically what I’m saying is that I’ll probably watch it, and I hope they jettison Alec Baldwin; he can have some heroic off-camera demise but I don’t want to have to square another actor’s horrific twitter presence with their on screen, carefully engineered Disney persona.

Well first BSG was terrible and nu BSG was better but also bad.

So good example but it’s all over the map.

Do you want something like “Firefly Babies”?
Because that’s how you get something like “Firefly Babies”.

They’ll probably get rid of Alan Tudyk, and the source is clearly gunnig for Inara Serra.

Unfortunately they might keep him and recast everyone else. James Woods as Mal; Gina Carano as Kaylee; add the rest of the persecuted white actors club. /s

Scott Baio just woke up and smiled for the first time in decades, not even knowing why.

I’d totally forgotten about him.
