First Canada Wuhan virus case confirmed, more than 1,400 people worldwide now infected with 2019-nCoV

You might want to also consider those Chinese “diehards” that resist going to hospital because they are going to get over whatever it is at home. They may die and not be included in the statistics. This is an unknown number. And ultimately - ultimately - the only figures that are coming out of China are the published figures. There is no satellite flying above that gives third parties some view of what’s going on with every person. Foreign news or medical circles have no better access to information than that which is being shared publicly. Fact is, what is known is currently being under-reported in the West because they are not publishing updated figures quickly enough. Also, planes are the perfect vector to spread this disease. There is the possibility that one infected passenger can infect the entire plane. All passengers go in different directions when they reach their destination and the plane crew does another flight and it all goes on all over again. This is going to be a toughy.

This map need to be a bit updated,
Can we remove the CCP factor?

Second Canadian case confirmed.

It’s the wife of the first case, who has been in self-isolation since arriving, so the danger of the virus spreading presumably hasn’t increased much.

The US doesn’t have anyone to lead the national response to a pandemic. Timothy Ziemer had that responsibility, but he was “streamlined” off the National Security Council by John Bolton in 2018, and was not replaced. I am afraid that we are about to find out what happens when an unstoppable bug meets an incompetent president who neither understands nor respects science.
