20 years ago, Scientology had a pile of cameras in downtown Clearwater. Since then, they’ve added more properties and a whole lot more cameras.

Unless they have footage of you pointing a laser at a camera and the camera being damaged immediately after then there is no reason to assume you did any damage at all. It could have been caused by someone else. Anybody may have pointed laser pointers at the cameras. And cameras can also be damaged by the LIDAR of specially equipped vehicles that travel on city streets testing self-driving car technology and doing 3D mapping of cities.
There is no value to confessing to something you have no way of knowing is or is not related to any actions by you. You should talk to a lawyer before commenting publicly about the accusations by the Church.
