The article describes it as a $10,000 droid, but the fully-functional ones they sell in the droid shop at Galaxy’s Edge are $25k. If he’d managed to steal one of those I’d be impressed. R2 can fight dirty.

Whaddya wanna bet the rethug party gives him a job. He’s obviously not terribly bright and enjoys stealing things, so I’m sure they must have a position awaiting him.
