LEO’s, executing a Judge certifiable Warrant, have every right to point firearms at anyone, They are in constant fear their (the LEO’s) lives are in danger. Naturally and following SOP training, pointing firearms at their fears (regardless if children or elderly) in the line of duty, is acceptable.
LEO’s live in constant fear, that’s why they need armored trucks, body armor and sonic weapons. Cause they live in fear of their lives while doing their job. Executing a search warrant on a person they know is not a threat. BUT THE LEO’s LIVES ARE IN DANGER!!!

I know you are sarcastic. But I think it’s also true. A society where every other moron has a gun is a society where the law enforcement has every reason to be shit scared all the time.

I had that moment too. I think there’s a common journalistic style and format that goes with crackpot claims, and journalists are going to need to learn to be clear about where they stand from the start to avoid it.
Wow. If what they are trying to imply were really the case, they would have quietly rescinded access and patched the holes, and not broadcast to the world that everyone working with their data can also create a statewide alert.
I am guessing this really means all they know is their computers are networked and she used her login to get the latest covid data. Maybe the state legislature should hold hearings on their loosey goosey security.
Also guessing that access is properly containerized and the network team have read this release and thought, “well, that’s BS.”

Yeah, this made the rounds on Tumblr this morning and I was waiting for confirmation, to be cautious. And it checks out.
It’s much worse, from the Talahassee Democrat:
“Once they are no longer associated with ESF-8 they are no longer authorized to access the multi-user group,” the FDLE affidavit said. All authorized users use the same user name and password.
The FDLE investigator claims he determined through his “investigative resources” that an Internet Protocol, or IP, address associated with Jones’s Comcast account was the source of the ESF-8 text message.
