I wonder if other high-profile cases like the murders of Oscår Roméro, Olof Palme and Thomas Sankara could also at some point⊠Ok, not likely.
But then, this also wasnât likely.
When I heard it on the radio that Palme had been murdered my initial reaction was âoh, they are so going to fuck up this investigationâ. Followed by âyup, unless they have a real Martin Beck in their ranks we will never know who did itâ.
(Every couple of years I re-read The Terrorists by Sjöwall & Wahlöö because itâs just so good. By 1986 I had already read it three or four times. After that it was a slightly different book, but somehow even better. If that is the right word.)
