I’m worried that Seth Green is starting to look like Steve Bannon to me

If you’re thinking of his character Mick in Idle Hands, you may be right.

Death warmed over. Check.
Bottle stuck in his head. Check.
Probably smells awful. Check.

The city said Friday it would pay him $1,520,000 to resign. Had the city simply fired him, officials said, he likely would have won back his job through arbitration due to federal and state labor laws

that’ll show him. in fact they’ll never have a problem with nazi cops again :frowning:

that’s some amazingly forward thinking by the city /s

IANAL, but that part made me wonder what laws protect knowingly displaying those items at work and engaging in hate speech on the job, too. For that amount of money, residents of that city should demand to see exactly what allows that and advocate for the legislature to close those loopholes (if any exist).

The initial discipline was a joke and so there was an outcry and then they tried to do something else but the cop union said that was double jeopardy for the poor Nazi cop who wasn’t getting his due process, so the city decided it was cheaper to pay him to quit than fire him and fight about it in court
