I called it! Far better than goblin mode:
Oh, I absolutely believe there was no personal malice: just a lifetime of privileged happy ignorance.
I also believe that from Ms Fulaniâs point of view, thatâs a difference without much distinction.
Itâs still malice whether it was delivered via ignorance or spite. The abuser doesnât get to define how the victim felt.
If it was just the first comment, I could see that. But the racist privileged woman kept pushing. She badgered Ms. Fulani with intrusive and insulting questions about her heritage and citizenship. She intended to humiliate Ms. Fulani for the audacity of being Black.
Every time I think it couldnât have been worse, I find out it was.
Iâm grateful ProPublica and the Texas Tribune are continuing to dig and publish
Want one.
Yeah, Tiger King was trash TV, but you know what⌠something good actually came out of it, so Iâm gonna call it a winâŚ

All Potential Cops Are Bad
â In her ruling, the judge wrote that the impeachment resolution passed by the Pennsylvania House did not meet Article VI, Section 6 of the stateâs constitution, which says that impeachment charges against a public official must allege conduct that constitutes what would amount to the common law crime of âmisbehavior in office.â
An example that Judge Ceisler used to describe misbehavior in office was, âfailure to perform a positive ministerial duty or performance of a discretionary duty with an improper or corrupt motive.â
He lost on 2 other arguments; which he should have lost & shouldnât have made.
But that one he won - seems to invalidate the entire impeachment action.
