Fox News anchor reacts without realizing she's live on the air

You do make a valid point, in that we think too much about television and forget the role that radio plays, especially with AM radio being so incredibly one-sided. Radio is not as in-your-face, and the way it has become so toxic was often belittled. But think about all the people with the radio on during a commute, or working at home in their workshops, or playing in the background at their place of work. And speaking of places of work, think of all the customers who are being hit with these viewpoints, how they seep in whether you want them to or not.

Fox News is merely the most visible target, but it’s radio we still need to be concerned about. And the surviving local newspapers, for that matter.

Totally. When I was a woodworker, the shop owners always played “Imus in the Morning” every single day. It somehow, slowly, starts to normalize.
I mean, the guy is advertising green cleaning products, how much of a monster can he be? /s

Fox understands this very well. They have a whole sales network tasked with using incentives to get their trash on screens in as many doctors’ waiting rooms, family restaurants, and old-man bars as possible.
