Compromise- a carbon steel pan. Maybe one of those heavy burner cover plates if you have an electric stove.

That’s how I cook eggs when camping. Cook bacon crispy, then cook the eggs in the bacon fat, then fry the bread in what’s left, and if there’s still too much grease, dump it in the fire.

I use ghee instead of butter; less likely to burn, and lets you do the high temp for the crunchy bits with less oil and less chance of burning it.
