That about sums it up.
Elon Musk: AI will be smarter than any human around the end of next year
For some dumbassâ completely arbitrary measurement for âintelligence,â sure. But there is no single objective measure for intelligence and there never has been. If your metric for intelligence is âhow fast can you solve math problems?â then machines already left us in the dust back in the 1940s.

In a video posted to X previewing an upcoming teardown, Sandy Munro and his engineering firm finally get their hands on a Tesla Cybertruck. The whole teardown hasnât posted yet, but the clip shows Munroâs team opening the Cybertruckâs battery pack and itâs weirdly empty. As the Byte pointed out, this does raise some questions.

Any bets on how long this post on âTwitterâ will be up and/or how long until the account is nuked?
The last paragraph of the article is probably correct:
the âfunnyâ thing is, if ai were suddenly âsmarterâ than people - itâs all the ceo, management, and knowledge jobs thatâd go away. actual production of goods and services? labor? farming? those would be the jobs still in demand. musk would be redundant ( as if he isnât already )
make the ai smart enough, and iâm sure itâd realize billionaires are a bad idea.

Need to modify my browser to suto-replace Cybertruck with Wankpanzer
âDestroy democracy one at a time, hell all at once.â This is basically this fuckerâs life mission at this point.
Mark Bankston is such a joy.
My preferred scenario here is that he gets the money, even more than heâs been asking for, and then xAI crashes and burns spectacularly in the imploding AI bubble, and nobody will invest in any of his bright ideas again, ever.
