Next seasons football fixtures were announced today, with yet more evidence that someone at the FA hates Carlisle United. Boxing Day, New Years Eve and Easter Saturday (usually the biggest attendances of the season) are all away games, and Crewe and Nottingham are not exactly nearby.

There isn’t a Tuesday night game at Plymouth this time, but Cheltenham isn’t much better and making the home game also on Tuesday isn’t fair either.

I can cope with this better than the fear of Brexit. I don’t trust the Little Englanders to not make my life worse than it already is.

Don’t worry, francophones don’t want to hear anglophones butcher their language anyway.

Argle bargle… got almost all the way to work and called the vet to see if they can see the little dude today… after explainging his symptoms they said bring him in now. Aka this morning. So back home i go to get the dog and drop him off and hope its just a gastro bug. Two days of vomitting is not that unusual… but no pooping is apparently code red.

Its either deathcancerworstthingever or… 500bucks in testing and nothing is wrong and hes fine.

Stupid furry beasts.

I’ve heard that this rule goes double for the Québécois .

Totally.

My sister is fluent in French. She went to university for French studies.

She’s gone to hotels in Québec, and has spoken fluently in French to the hotel staff, who have responded in kind. The manager has then come out and spoken to her in English; after hearing that she speaks unaccented English, the hotel staff then refuses to speak to her in French.

I hear ya.

I’m hoping (and keeping my fingers crossed) that it’s the latter. Good luck, little dude!

I feel you. I’m no expert but my aging shi-tzu has taught me more about pee and poop and doggie insides than I ever thought I’d know. With any luck, it could be some sort of bacterial infection, and those can be cleared up with antibiotucs. (They even have probiotic capsules now, to help re-balance gastrointestinal bacteria. Who knew?) I hope your little doggie comes through with flying colors. :hugging:

And my step-dad has stage 4 pancreatic cancer. He’s going for the chemo, though, so we’ll see what that does…

Fuck today!!!

Got much empathy for you here. My mum’s just started 6 months of chemo for bowel cancer after an op to remove a large section of it.

Fuck cancer. :cactus:
