The sound of my voice can sometimes be dysphoric for me. However I think I would absolutely enjoy purposely projecting my deepest baritone for a shout of “fuck off” towards these people. (I’m also thinking of a very lovely woman I know who cultivates a somewhat similar voice for her kink play – purposefully inverting the trope. I suspect the kinds of things she says in that voice would cause these fools to shrivel up and die!)

The inability of these people to understand parable and metaphor is disturbing. Have they conflated bible literacy with bible literalness?
