Asking your language and getting your WiFi details are “mandatory policies for which an agreement is required?”
I mean, click-through agreements are incredibly shitty. Yes. No argument.
But this is casting too broad a net and is vilifying literally every user interaction during device setup.
I think what they’re saying that each of these mundane things is accompanied by a required agreement.
So instead of “enter your wifi details”, it is “entering your WiFi details constitutes agreement to a contract you can only read in this 3 inch popup”
