For society to exist, there has to be some form of social interaction and sharing of power

In the GOP authoritarian dream, only members of their inner circle will have power. They could decide the terms of everyone else’s interactions (or existence). Once they are in control, members of their party who were temporarily tolerated for their votes and campaign contributions will find out very quickly what it’s like to be marginalized and oppressed.
