Both in-store and online retail sales increased year-over-year unadjusted for inflation, according to Mastercard’s SpendingPulse insights, … In-store sales jumped a little more than 1%, while e-commerce led the charge with an increase of 8.5%.
However, Sensormatic Solutions, which tracks shopper traffic at brick-and-mortar stores, found that visits on Black Friday were up 4.6% from 2022. This is a turnaround for retailers, the company said, as foot traffic has been down an average of 2.4% this year.

Honest reaction: it felt authentic and warm and exactly how a White House winter holiday (but mostly Christmas) decoration should be, to the point where I hope all those MAGAts who defended Melania because of who she was married to can actually see what a difference it makes when the First Lady takes her job seriously and also actually cares about other people. It really showcased how wrong she was in every way.
Not bad enough to be the sort of person who uses the Coke button…at least, I hope not!
