No, this system does not use “fractal mathematics,” unless fractal is now a synonym for “cool.” It might use an iterative algorithm, but I don’t even see that really.
I’m pretty sure “fractal” is actually a synonym for “totally bitchin’,” but I might be behind the times a bit on my terminology.
A couple of his projects do seem to involve fractal patterns, and many others involve repeating, symmetrical patterns that aren’t self-similar at different scales.
