FuckinA. I’ve been an atheist for as long as I can recall (FSM love my sweet Gramma for trying to “fix” this), and even I know this isn’t WWJD.
I feel ya, but none of this fits the Bible Jeebus that the CIA would totally gun down cold if revealed to exist today. Well some of it does, but only the stuff on the left side of the screen, you sneaky not-Christian guy.
And brush font! Just like the plaques little Donnie got in military school.
Look on the bright side.
Trump is just replacing Scalia.
The right-left balance hasn’t changed from what it was under Obama.
For now.
Good point. The worst he can do is place an ideologue who is also a functional idiot. That might actually be a step above Scalia.
Fuck off Barry Gibb
Come back next week and tell me how bad Scalia was.
ETA: smart money seems to be on Gorsuch, who sounds much like Scalia.

Didn’t the right just spend 8 years losing their fucking minds over federal intervention in state and local affairs?
Oh wait, nevermind, they’re in charge now so it’s fine.
I’m not saying that Trump can’t do worse.
I’m just saying that there’s still the four left-wing justices and Kennedy as the swing vote, same as before.
Trump’s appointee is not going to be able to swing any votes unless Scalia would have been a swing vote on the same issue, and, from what I remember, that was rarely (if ever) the case.
If any of those five justices die or retire, then it’s time to panic.
Not that the new appointee shouldn’t face protests and resistance proportional to how awful he (it’s going to be a he) is. It’s just not the immediate guaranteed end to Roe v. Wade that everyone send to think it is.
Good job none of the liberal or swing judges are really old.
Maybe he’ll nominate Garland, as a concession to the closeness of the election and the disgusting way the GOP treated him.
It’s almost like he was sitting around, as a president in their first week, just watching TV and dicking around on the internet…
Not to mention, that plan might not work out quite the way his magnificent mind envisions it.
Chicago isn’t even close to the most dangerous city, I wonder what motivates it being singled out… Oh right, it’s a political enemy that carries a state.
Ginsberg, 83
Sotomayor, 63
Breyer, 79
Kagen, 57
Kennedy, 81
He’s just like me! That’s who should be president, a real American.
I just read an article promising he wouldn’t have time to sit around and watch TV as President. I am disappoint.
I’m shocked that he isn’t taking his responsibilities deeply seriously with a profound sense of commitment and deep respect for the gravity of the role.
Not that it needs to be said, but OMFG!!!1111!!
