Droopy crosses the street while the anvils are falling on moving cars all around him. He would have been safer crossing with just the cars to dodge.

George Jetson was just in a bad mood, having been sent by Mr. Spacely from his Elysium-on-stilts home above the clouds to the post-apocalyptic cyberpunk slums on the surface of the Earth.

You know how cartoons work, right?
yes - you can’t cross the street, so you summon Anvils From Heaven, which smash the cars, then you cross the street unimpeded.
This isn’t a cartoon, it’s a promo, which is why it violates even cartoon logic.
99% of the time, i’m with george. but then, even tiffany couldn’t save the jetson’s movie.
There was no saving The Jetsons anyway. I didn’t know this until recently, but it pretty much failed during it’s original run. It got one season! (To be fair, it ran against The Wonderful World of Disney and Dennis the Menace.) It took 2 decades for it to become popular enough to try and fail again.
