Yes, that is what I meant. I have not had to fill out any of those forms a for a while, so I couldn’t remember. But i’m sure you’re correct.
The CSA wrote their own provisional constitution that was largely a copy+paste of the US constitution, except they explicitly made slavery legal. They even copied the bill of rights verbatim.
