hurrumpf. I hate crappy tools.
Those are dollar store prices, and probably dollar store quality - which is fine for some uses I suppose. I always keep me eye out for used Craftsman (and better) tools at cheap prices. They tend to be better made using better materials and if they’ve been well taken care of they serve the purpose just fine.
I’ve been trying to find a cheap replacement for my old yellow-handled Lindstrom wire cutters lately, because I misplaced both pairs when we moved a few years ago. I used them when I worked in the electronics industry many years ago and they were a dream. I may eventually go with secondhand ones from eBay.
