All works fine here, although I am on Google UK?
Works fine for me too, in US.
Also working normally for me. Also in US.
A-OK in LA
Works for me too. Are you sure you’re not the one who was hacked?
It was doing the same thing here on google.ca a little while ago, but seems to be fixed now.
Yeah I tried lots of things and they are all fine. So either they have fixed it fast or possibly something else more localized going on.
does anyone have a breakdown of the actual attack? This looked like URL rewriting at first but now I’m thinking DNS poisoning due to the limited number of people effected.
At least a couple people on the official Google discussion thread for the issue indicated it only seemed to be happening with Google’s DNS servers, so DNS poisoning definitely seems like a likely situation.
Mechanism aside, what an utterly bizarre attack. It’s like a numbers station.
I was also hit with it on Google.ca earlier. I thought it was just me.
It seems to be fixed – and fast too:

Hey guys,
We think we’ve fixed it. Could you please try and refresh your browser (clear cache & cookies) and see if it worked for you?
Some folks suggest that you need to refresh your DNS settings, though.
I never got to see it…
No, it was happening to me, and I’m using RCN’s servers.
