Is Greta OK with her lettering being distributed like this? If it were me, I’d be saying “how dare you?”

She was here last month, got a key to the city. I think she’s doing right, but think her “I should be in school” sounds like leverage. Most would be glad to have reason to be out of school, so it seems like tge wrong thing to use.

When we walked to New York City in 1982 for nuclear disarmament, some young people were along at times. One teenager from Kahnawake (we stayed there the first night) walked to Burlington and wanted to go all tge way, but his mother wouldn’t let him. Tgen on June 12th, the big disarmament ralky with an estimated 500,090 people, someone from Kahnawake saw me and said hi. I thought it was his mother, but not certain.
Then later tgat year, Samantha Smith at age ten wrote her famous letter to Andropov about disarmament, later making a trio to the USSR as a result. Sadly, she died a few years later in a plane crash.

I always wondered if we had an affect on her. She lived in Maine and one leg of the World Peace March started in Maine, actually our Montreal leg merged with them in New London, CT, where they launch the nuclear subs (and CNVA had it"s HQ nearby). Hello Willow. So maybe that leg passed by where Samantha lived, and influenced her.

Greta’s in Edmonton, Alberta and there’s going to be a showdown. A truck convoy is going to show up as a counter-protest… It will probably be like a duel in a western, a standoff right there on mainstreet. Greta standing in the middle of the road, blocking the trucks, giving them that look of hers.

So, it will be a mix between these two?

We’ll observe a moment of silence for Fraktur and cursive.

Yes, I was thinking of “Tank Man”, but Greta has a better glare.

Yeah, ‘cos without those fonts, you wouldn’t be able to complain on the internet.

Isn’t HELVETICA enough for you… you MONSTERS??? Its sleek rounded minimalism, its immediate brand recognition, its societal ubiquity. What’s not to love?

Trust me, you do not want to get involved in a Helvetica Scenario.
