that’s a big gap! over 1/16th inch! “card” stock is usually .014 to .024" where .070 would be considered “board”.

Dear Papiermeister. I goofed. 7 thou it is. Card stock of that thickness was common at work. It’s what the company printing department had for docs that had to pass through a lot of hands and rough conditions and/or had to be used for forms meant for the field (ex: test stands).
