Didn’t realize the ride was only four months older than I am. It has certainly weathered the decades better than I have, though it beats me in the bullethole count, 1-0.
Coincidentally enough, this morning I was just describing the ride in detail to my kids (4 and 6) who haven’t been on it yet. For the first time, they’re showing some enthusiasm for checking it out, rather than unalloyed dread. They can’t wait to pick the nose of their hitchhiking ghost!
Gee I really wanted one of those $25 shirts. Too bad the shipping and handling was over $40 for me.
