Hayao Miyazaki's beloved 'Totoro' will be focus of Studio Ghibli theme park set to open in 2020

Such as… Japan?

I also really enjoyed Only Yesterday — it’s a very quiet, introspective movie about a woman remembering her childhood. Uniquely Japanese and really nice. But honestly pretty much any Ghibli movie is worthwhile (except for Ocean Waves).

Reminds me that I have the DVD of The Cat Returns, but haven’t watched it yet.

Pom Poko is also very worthwhile: a movie about shape-shifting Tanukis battling humans. Magic tanunki testicles are used prominently as weapons, parachutes, blankets, etc.

I want to live there.

Edit: Beats Trumpland! (sorry)

Trumpland is going to have much, much more thrilling rides.

Thrilling like climbing K2 when you’ve never even gone hiking before! :confounded:

The only disappointing thing for me about the Ghibli museum was adults weren’t allowed in the catbus. Damn kids!
