I’m in, too. I’m part of the San Jose Astronomical Association (an astronomy club in SJ, Calif), and our mission is to bring astronomy and science to the masses. And boy, this is one cool way of doing that! I’m also trying to promote guerrilla astronomy, setting up scopes on the sidewalk in busy areas of town. Have YOU ever seen Saturn through a telescope? How about the moon? Neither have most people, and we’re trying to change that.
Guerrilla science is just a superset of what we’re doing. Win win, yes yes!
