Herding cats isn't all that hard, after all

It’s old, and I’m almost sure everyone’s seen it, but obligatory:

So little sis was dog-sitting Zinger the Border Collie, a trained herding dog who fit his name nicely. Arriving home that evening, Zinger was not to be found. After an exhaustive search, a whimper was heard from the bathroom, where 22lbs-of-muscles, dubiously domestic, ex-barn cat Max was sitting at the door. The cat-beast had herded Zinger and corralled him in the bathtub.

The five other Belgian and Aussie Shepherds in the house were doing the Sargent Shultz act, they knew better than to mess with Max and were certainly not coming to rescue Zinger.

Max came to live with us, helped us raise two kids, and otherwise organize the neighbourhood wild and domestic animal life… he was a great cat.
