Carmine Infantino’s art on The Flash, Strange Adventures, and Strange Sports Stories was what got me into comic books. He’s never gotten the recognition he very definitely earned with his work, from the 1940s on. He did beautiful work and his vision of future fashion, as I recall, can be seen on the streets today.

BTW, his nephew, Jim Infantino, is a working singer/songwriter.

I’m trying to wrap my head around Burt Reynolds as Clark Kent.

That being said comic books were a big thing among college students in the 60s and 70s. Especially day-glo posters of characters.
