DEFINITELY watch with the slides, if at all possible. But you can use YouTube’s controls to watch at faster than 1x.

It’s surprising how blatantly obvious most all of his material is to me, but then, I’m really old. Perhaps all these blunders are being made by 22-year-olds who haven’t had things fall apart around them multiple times.

Mickens is pretty young.

Also hilarious.

What might be under-appreciated is his low key insertion of the narrative of being a black man in America. It is usually super fast (among an already dense and rapid fire delivery), but the audience usually recoils a bit.
