Is someone else an idiot because they don’t fit into one of the two ideas you had before you started labeling other people?
What if you, for instance, are not a Democrat? Bernie isn’t.

I surely realize that.
See, I happen to believe our interests are served by those particular positions in a way that starting a war with someone who threatened the president’s daddy, subcontracted out to the VP’s golf buddies, was not.
Similarly, I could not swallow Gore’s military support for the oil interests his family (at the time) held.
Of course a Trump supporter would say that a vote for Stein is like a vote for Clinton.
So this whole line of reasoning is rubbish.
That made my 2008 primary caucus choice very easy, but had the primary gone differently I’d still have chosen her over John ‘bomb bomb iran’ McCain.
Sure, if she committed to reinstating Glass-Stagall and defeating the TPP, that would be cool. Also, showing us Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s head on a platter (metaphorically speaking, of course).
Well, at least there won´t be any disappointments this time around with your new president.
Well, probably very unlikely, but Zero - its definitely not Zero.
What is also not Zero is the likelyhood that some conservative that attended one of her expensive talks to Banks will disclose a video that embarrasses her and reveals that she has been lying about her statements at these talks (similar to the video that was spilled on Romney - aka the 48% comment). But that would not happen until after the convention, to do maximum damage.
She could refuse to take Wall Street money too.
Hillary and Trump are at about the same level of unacceptable, to me. Trump is just a more unlikeable asshole, as I see it. He is easier to dislike, but at the end of the day, just as easy to not vote for.
This is not a game.
So then, why the list of rules?
You bet, cause we know exactly what we are getting. Its like a 4.99 all you can eat buffet where all you can stomach is 2.25 worth.
“Hillary and Trump are at about the same level of unacceptable, to me.”
I think that is stupider than being for Trump.
Between Trump and Clinton, which of them would say that to someone they disagree with?
You sure you prefer Clintons leadership?
This is the rationalization where Democracy goes to die.
Hah! Well not saying you should vote for me.
Lets turn that mirror around though. Sanders is telling you you should vote for Clinton, if she is the nominee. I bet Trump is quite happy with you voting for nobody at all in the general.
Say then that the choice was two Trumps. One blue, one red. One exposed all his ugliness, one hid it and lied about it. But you felt sure both would take the country in a bad direction and harm us all.
So you gonna vote for the blue one? Just because blue?
That’s why people are voting third party. If you don’t like it - tough shit.
That might make sense, if it weren’t for that fact that Clinton is nothing at all like Trump, not even a teeny bit.
There are a few things Hillary could have done that would have raised my respect for her. Starting with divorcing her philandering husband. Not a role model I would ever hold up to my daughter.
You have to allow that not everybody sees it that way.
I don’t see them as “the same”. But I also find both totally unacceptable.
