'Hitler just wanted to make Germany great,' Candace Owens of Trump-aligned TPUSA says in London

Much like the well-respected democracy in the German Democratic Republic!

Garbage lady is evidently happy with the Nuremberg Laws of 1935, and the 1938 Kristallnacht, because No Globalism.

I remember a meeting of an African group of nations (sorry can’t remember exactly which; seem to remember it was mostly southern countries) a bunch of years ago and despite multiple countries doing awful things they all just gave each other a pass and didn’t bring up the things that needed bringing up because everyone wants a pass on their own crimes.

My first reaction to this is yes, please, by all means go on reminding everyone that nationalism is a disgusting cancer because humanity keeps forgetting.

Put another way, she’s defending the idea of “Germany for Germans”, and that means defending the attempted extermination of Jews and Roma, who were regarded as outsiders.

You can’t really take the antisemitism out of National Socialism, it was the linchpin of the Third Reich’s entire philosophy. Even their meager economic policies involved wholesale theft of Jewish property and businesses to benefit the Reich.

Would she say, then, that the problem is globalists?

[In case you don’t know, “globalist” is a code-word antisemitic people use for people of Jewish faith or heritage]

The trains ran on time in the same way that Trump has accomplished more in his first two years than any president before him?

Oh FFS. Turning Point indeed. Turning into NAZI apologists. Turning into Fascists. These creeps have drunk so much Trump Brand Kool-Ade, they literally don’t know what they are actually saying any more.

Another ugly-American, Trump mouthpiece in town.

Well, if this doesn’t peek MI6’s curiosity…

So we all know that insanity and stupidity isn’t a race or nationality thing, it’s just a human thing.

But a black American standing up for Hitler is really making my head whirl.

In Mein Kampf, Hitler described children resulting from marriages to African occupation soldiers as a contamination of the white race “by Negro blood on the Rhine in the heart of Europe.” He thought that “Jews were responsible for bringing Negroes into the Rhineland, with the ultimate idea of bastardizing the white race which they hate and thus lowering its cultural and political level so that the Jew might dominate.”

(thanks wikipedia)

Don’t worry, they didn’t send them to death camps, instead it was secret compulsory sterilization! Black Americans? Now them they killed.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t the Nazis incorporate social programs for “real Germans” only? Hence National Socialism? And that this made it easier to get “real Germans” on board with the program of systemic dehumanization and eventual extermination of everybody who was “not a real German”?

That was my understanding, at any rate.

Yours?

I am a Black American; and even though in my very core, I know there will always be brainwashed kapos and overseers who mindlessly parrot the oppressors’ bullshit propaganda even when its against their own personal self interest, this kind of boot-licking buffoonery is just fucking embarrassing.

Thank you for remembering the Roma.

Possibly. I’m really not sure. My understanding was they just adopted Socialist in their name in order to get the working class on their side. But they may well have adopted some social programs to try to legitimize the name. I haven’t done a deep dive into the specifics, but they definitely weren’t “socialist” in the broader sense.

It’s like so many things in the Trump era: I already know, but the way things come out is always just a little bit unbelievable. Like I expect to hear the soft, coy version of the hateful ideology from the it’s-right-that-I’m-oppressed crowd. The “enh Hitler was alright” version is supposed to be subtext!

All I can say is many people seem to be losing their tenuous grip on reality.

if we’re embarrassed for her, we’re identifying with her and her agenda too much

if this is what “nationalism” means (and it is) then NATIONALISM IS BAD

if nationalists are opposed to “globalism” maybe we should be listening to these “globalists”

I’m embarrassed BY her; thanks to ingrained systemic bigotry and prejudice, shit like this makes ALL Black folks look bad, just by association.
