Does crafting and passing needed law call for an assurance of success? Does an dysfunctional senate or veto threat invalidate progress? I know it’s kinda silly but I still cheer for good bills moving forward even if the finish line may never come, the joy should be in the journey, the Senate and Executive can be shifted and I like the effort.

MItch isn’t going to bring anything proposed by a Democrat to the floor of the Senate so they might as well pass the bills they want. It’s not like he has any intention of working with them. Plus they’re going to be busy confirming the Supreme Court Justice before the election.
