If a Republican deletes a government communication in office, does Fox News make a sound?

Did all Fox News’ programs ignore the issue? Usually I expect them to furiously provide a counter-narrative defense, but to completely ignore a news story is a lot more telling.

[ETA: it could be they’re waiting for instructions from some conservative brain-trust on how to spin this.]

When the phone hacking scandal was being investigated in the UK, the entire press were covering it. Everyone, except the Sun and the Times, which are owned by the Murdochs. Even the Mirror, who were also involved in the scandal, had it as front page news.

I quite liked the dancing weatherman.

That is the only thing I quite liked.

That’s exactly what’s happening. Murdoch has to settle on a narrative before sending it down to his minions in the newsroom.

ETA: More Faux News cowardice.

Don’t bother pointing out the hypocrisy. Any Republican with enough IQ to understand the hypocrisy is laughing at us for caring.

You know who has a high IQ? Jordan Peterson.

Stop treating IQ as some sort of stand in for good moral values. Lots of “smart” people are shitty human beings.

Please don’t tell me what to do.

As @anon61221983 pointed out, high IQ doesn’t correlate to actual values or a moral compass.

It’s the RWNJs who get all in a snit about “being laughed at,” not us “libs.” Personally, I don’t give a shit if they laugh at me. I just want them to stop trying to kill my friends and destroy democracy :woman_shrugging:t2:
