The cat I had growing up lived to 21. In the last 5 years of her life, she went deaf. The first thing that seemed weird was that she would go into a small shower and meow really loud. I think she was trying to hear herself. Then, it was the hallway, which also had an echo.
Manny Pearl got his name because when he was a very tiny kitten, he was loud and unashamed (like the great Minnie Pearl). Now that he’s a big boy, he doesn’t meow all that often.
He is still completely shameless, though. (I think he knows he’s pretty.)
Our loudest cat, who can be really loud, is also small and knows she is pretty. Maybe small cats and cats who know how beautiful they are are loudest?
I believe it. Also, she is very pretty.
Dare I say it might even be a cataclysmic event?
Definitely not a felicitous one.
Oooh, you’re not pussyfooting around!
I take my kitten around very seriously.
You win, again. Cat’s got my tongue.
Puns aren’t meant to be a competition; let’s not keep a tabby of wins and losses. I simply aim to a-mews.
Stop it right meow.
