On the other hand, if your kid did fall out, you were eligible for a full refund of the price for both tickets.
Note that this was also three years before the US required seat belts in cars.
RIght? Lesson learned, not. Every winter I go and pound the bunny slope, paying extra attention to my lift dismount technique. Nailed it! Okay, let’s go hit hit green circle trail on fresh powder: sprawled out at the top of the lift. Or wiped out halfway down, skis skittering on down the slope.
