I had COVFEFE lined up as a personal plate in the CA DMV website within about 10 seconds after he tweeted that, but it was a leased car and so I couldn’t figure out some additional step. Ah well.
I’m reminded of a story I heard once of Betta splendens, (Siamese fight fish), that evolved from living in puddles and the males are fiercely territorial. Allegedly, two males were dropped into a huge lake, and they immediately charged towards each other and fought until one was dead. Some plutocrats are similar, however much they have is never enough.
You may be waiting for the book of photos that the Kremlin may publish, when the time is right.
If only it were that easy. Senate republicans would just filibuster any attempts to create any new reforms.
My petty inner pedant is frothing at the mouth. It’s foreword, people. As in words at the front of a fucking book or document. FORE. WORD. FOREWORD.
Thank you for attending my ted pedant talk.
I do not feel bad for her getting The Full Grifter treatment. She voluntarily worked in the White House taking nice photos that the twice-impeached loser used to try to make himself look presidential. She probably had to swear his Loyalty Oath just to keep that job.
She didn’t have to continue to work in that White House. She didn’t have to be an accomplice.
You lie down with dogs, you get up with fleas.
They could at least try, though. Again and again and again.
Did she take the pic where the wind is blowing his hair back, exposing his poorly done orange makeup job?
The Senate can’t even get things as seemingly non-controversial as the Voting Rights Act passed this session (something that’s been passed unanimously under past presidents). And in any event the “unitary executive” theory is something Republicans (ironically) absolutely love (when their guy is in power). Any attempts to fix this would just be a waste of time.
Just a waste of time, great argument. I’ll use that on my boss the next time I don’t feel like doing something that is my job to do. Good thinking!
tell that to the 50 Republican Senators who refuse to do …. well, anything at all other than block any legislation and run out the clock until November in the hope of tipping the balance of power. Senate Democrat priorities may not be where you’d like, but they are at least trying to do stuff.
It’s a vital part of the whole checks-and-balances thing. If a president can get away with everything, kiss democracy goodbye.
I feel like we’re agreeing more than disagreeing, but that we’re also talking past one another. So, I’ll bow out of this topic now.
Is the “How Trump Screwed Over…” going to be a running series? If so I’ll clear my schedule.
The real ‘never ending story’.
All Americans even the venial an corrupt have the right to exploit those photos. We’ve already paid for them through our taxes. Wait, has anybody created a website devoted to selling NFTs of them? Of course it doesn’t matter if anybody else has done that I can do that too…
